Tappercise is a form of tap dancing done for exercise and fun.

Alice McIntosh founded The Red Shoes in 1976 in Old Town Pasadena and created the revolutionary dance exercise program Tappercise in 1986. The original goal was to sell quality dance wear at affordable prices to the dance community in Southern California.
